GERALD GRANT III

Gerald Grant III is the Vice President of the G Financial Group working in alliance with Equitable Advisors, LLC. Gerald is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 66 & 24 registrations and is insurance licensed. Gerald holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from Hampton University. He has been awarded the title of Retirement Planning Specialist by Equitable Advisors, after receiving a Certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Gerald is the co-author of the father and son book, The Power of Generational Wealth.

 

Gerald grew up around his father’s business – Gerald Grant, Jr. – who has been a Financial Advisor with the company for over twenty years. During his high school and college years, Gerald III interned at the company his summer vacations. After graduating from college, he was employed as a consultant at Deloitte in Washington, DC. However, after two years, Gerald decided to return to Miami to follow his father’s footsteps.

 

Gerald and his father partnered to create the G Financial Group, a multigenerational comprehensive planning firm with the mission of helping clients build wealth that will last for generations. They believe in education, comprehensive planning, and exceptional service.  After gaining years of experience, Gerald returned to the Washington, DC to establish a G Financial Group office in the area.

 

Gerald currently serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee for FINCESA, and a member of the Greater Maryland Chapter of NBMBAA. He is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Gerald is also the former Co-Chair of the Executive Committee for LINC of the United Way of Miami-Dade.

 

In his free time Gerald enjoys traveling, sports, and spending time with his wife Chanel, daughter Ryan, family, and friends.
